A Fun Weekend

This was such a good weekend spent with family and friends. This week was the Orange Festival and we were all glad to see things a little more pre-Katrina and the festival be held back at the Fort Jackson. The turn out was pretty good on Sat but a lot smaller today, the Saints game must have had a lot of people glued to the TV at home. My sister had a booth there this weekend and I was so proud of her and the great job that she did. She does custom sewing and embroidery and her items are so cute and so well made. Here is a link to her DTR Facebook page, go check it out and maybe find some great Christmas gifts. My brother and sis in-law and the kids came down for the weekend and its always fun to have all of the family together! My brother Max had me laughing so hard, and the kids are always fun. I really enjoyed helping my sister today and getting to spend time with my sister in-law.
I can't believe that this is our last full week of this school year. The Christmas break is right there and I can't wait!! I'm going to town tomorrow afternoon and I'm hoping to get some of my Christmas shopping out of the way. I still have a lot left to do. So thought I would give you an update on the online dating scene. Haven't met Mr. Right yet. I haven't given up yet, but I'm really starting to wonder. It's also been a real hoot for my family, they think that its just so funny that even the online match makers say that I may want to broaden my wants in a match. My sister was telling my Uncle and Cousin who were over for a visit about my latest delve into the online dating and how they couldn't even find me a match and my Uncle said something that cracked me up!! He said, "Ha...did they send her a message that said "Ms Latham, we are sorry to inform you that the last person that we had that met your match requirements was crucified." The man has jokes!! But thats fine, and I did have to laugh at that one...come on, you know that was funny, and to come up with that so fast.
Well it was a good weekend and I'm looking forward to a good week. Hope that your is Blessed and filled with Joy!  -Till Tomorrow

The Orange Festival sounds like fun. I'm really glad that Fort Jackson is in shape to be used again. Was it your Uncle Walnut with the comment about a dating match? That sounds like something he would come up with.
